ISM-San Antonio is excited to offer CPSM certification preparation courses to our affiliate members!!

Obtaining professional credentials through an internationally recognized certification program continues to be one of the best ways to advance your career and broaden your understanding in all aspects of the supply chain profession.  Most jobs posted on employment search websites list professional certifications like CPSM and C.P.M. as preferred-some even list them as basic requirements.  The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) created the Certified Professionals in Supply Management (CPSM) designation in late spring of 2008, and ISM has already recognized over 2,500 individuals as CPSM.  All individuals with the previously offered certification of C.P.M. should consider the CPSM Bridge Exam-this course is clearly applicable for that review purpose as well.

ISM-San Antonio has an excellent track record in preparing members to pass all three (3) exams to obtain the CPSM professional certification.  Much like a normal college course there is weekly reading assigned, group discussion of the covered topics, and practice test questions to familiarize you with the types of questions that will be on the exams.  Please note that the CPSM designation requires the qualifying professional to have a bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, a minimum of 3 years experience in non-clerical supply chain job functions, and, of course, passing the 3 exam modules.  As mentioned above, C.P.M.'s who have a 4 year degree are also eligible for certification upon passing the CPSM Bridge Exam.  For more information or clarification on the CPSM certifications or the exam prep course, please contact our Director of Education, Michael Mundahl ( ).
